One account, several households.
A household is a complete, separate set of money: its own accounts, budget, categories and history. Most people need one. Some need a few (a shared flat, the family home, a side business) and vokse keeps them apart while you move between them in a click.

One account, several households.
Know what a household holds
Accounts, transactions, budgets, categories, payees, rules, recurrences, goals, bank connections and API keys all belong to one household. Nothing crosses between them: no shared categories, no combined net worth, no copying data from one to another. The only thing that moves between households is you.
Create another one
Open the household switcher (the name at the top of the sidebar on desktop, the chip in the header on a tablet, or the first row of the menu on a phone) and pick New household. Give it a name, a base currency and, if you like, a starter set of categories. You land in it straight away.
Move between them
The same switcher lists every household you belong to with your role in each. Switching swaps the whole app: the dashboard, the budget, the register and even the assistant now answer about that household only. Your choice is remembered on this device and on your others.
Invite people, with a role
From Settings → Household, invite by email as owner, editor or viewer. Owners manage members and settings, editors record and categorise money, viewers can only read. An invitation arrives by email and opens straight into the household.
Leave when you are done
Settings → Households lists them all with a Leave action. Leaving removes your access immediately; the household and its data stay with the remaining members. The only exception is being the sole owner: hand ownership to someone else first, or delete the household.
