vokse works best when three things exist: your accounts, a handful of categories and one honest month of budget. This guide gets you there.

Create your household
The setup wizard creates your first household and everything (accounts, budgets, the audit log) lives inside it. You can create more later, and invite people to any of them from Settings → Household.
Add your accounts
Under Accounts, add the ones money actually flows through: checking, savings, the credit card. Connect your bank for automatic imports, or start manual and connect later.
Keep the starter categories, prune later
vokse seeds sensible groups (Living, Food, Transportation). Rename or delete once you see a month of real spending; guessing upfront is how budgets die.
Assign your money
Open Budget. Whatever sits in your accounts shows as Ready to assign; give every euro a job until it reaches zero. That is the whole method.
Let the register fill up
Transactions land in the register: imported from your bank, typed by hand, or spoken to the assistant. Categorise the first few yourself; the AI learns your taste from exactly that.
