A target for every envelope. A plan for every loan.

The vokse budget plan with goals on envelopes: targets, suggested monthly amounts and what is left to assign

Loans with a planner, not just a balance

Mortgages, car, student, personal and medical loans, and any other debt, sit off budget, carry their own terms and receive a monthly interest charge you can see and edit. Debt stays debt: a loan never shows up as money you have.

The loan planner

Balance remaining, payoff date, interest paid so far and interest still to come, read from your real payments. Add an extra monthly amount or a one-off payment and the projection redraws on the spot, to the cent, with the same rounding the monthly interest charge uses.

Amortization and terms history

Every installment split into principal, interest and, on a mortgage, escrow, grouped by year. Change a rate or a payment and the change is dated: the history keeps every term that ever applied, and interest is charged at the rate in force that month.

A debt payoff goal on the envelope

On a credit card payment envelope or a loan's paired category, set a payoff date and vokse spreads the live balance until then, or set the monthly payment and fund it. Progress tracks the real debt, not a number you typed once.

Reconcile to the cent

Type the balance your bank shows right now. vokse compares it with the cleared balance up to today, books any difference as a balance adjustment you can see, and locks every cleared row up to today as reconciled. One transaction, idempotent, audited.

  • Guided, never blind

The sheet shows your cleared balance beside the bank's figure. When they match, nothing is invented; when they differ, the adjustment is a visible system row, not a silent edit.

  • Reconciled rows stay locked

A reconciled row carries a lock, and the web asks before any edit that would undo the reconciliation: amount, date, account or status. Memo, category, payee and tags stay free.

  • Today, in your timezone

Today is computed in your own timezone, and future-dated rows are never touched: the bank cannot know about them, so a late-night reconcile does not flip tomorrow's rows.

A goal in three moves

  1. Set the target

Pick the envelope and the kind: a balance to reach, a date to reach it by, a monthly amount, a spending limit, or a debt to pay off on a debt-linked category. Targets are stored in your base currency.

  2. Fund it each month

vokse suggests the monthly amount that lands the goal on time. Assign it by hand, fill every envelope that carries a goal in one move, or pull money from another envelope when the month changes shape.

  3. Watch it land

Progress reads the live figure: for a debt goal the target is the account's actual balance, so a payment moves the bar without you editing anything. Underfunded goals are one filter away.
