Cookie Policy
Cookies are small text files that browsers store on your device. We try to use as few as possible, and none for advertising. This page explains what each one does so you can decide for yourself, in line with the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR.

Strictly necessary cookies
Without these, the service cannot run. They keep you signed in, remember your locale and CSRF-protect form submissions. We don't ask for consent for these because the law doesn't require us to.
- vokse.session_token: keeps you logged in. HTTPOnly, SameSite=Lax, expires when you sign out.
- NEXT_LOCALE: remembers your chosen language. 1-year expiry.
- vokse.csrf: short-lived form token. Cleared on close.
Functional cookies
Optional cookies that improve the experience without identifying you. They are only set when you use the feature that needs them, never by default.
- vokse.theme: remembers dark / light preference. 1-year expiry.
- vokse.dismissed-banners: tracks which in-app banners you closed. 90 days.
Analytics: privacy-first only
We use Plausible, a cookieless analytics service hosted in the EU (Germany), to count page views in aggregate. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites and collects no personal data, so there is nothing to opt out of; a content blocker stops it entirely if you prefer.
What we don't use
We never set advertising cookies. We never share data with ad networks. We never use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or anything similar. We never sync identifiers across sites.
Changing your choices
You can change your cookie preferences any time from Settings → Privacy & data. Your browser can also clear and block all cookies; doing so will sign you out and may affect some preferences.
